About the Presenter
Tim is an international sales and marketing professional with over 30 years’ experience in the IT, blockchain, software and telecommunications sectors. He has extensive knowledge of complex b2b selling, sales leadership and sales effectiveness on an international level. He is also an experienced facilitator and trainer, delivering programmes in both the commercial and academic sectors. Some of the organisations he has worked with include; GTA Kuoni, IBM, Lloyds Bank, Capita Group, Rogers Communications, SSE, Vodafone and BNP Paribas. He has also worked with a number of start-up companies acting as an Interim VP of Sales, and delivering sales mentoring, coaching.
His current role is leading an international sales team at Elliptic, a Blockchain Analytics SaaS company focused on solutions for Crypto Businesses, Financial Institutions and Regulators.
Tim has an MBA from the University of Bradford and has Lectured in Marketing and Sales Management at a number of UK Universities. He has co-authored two books on sales. The most recent, Coaching Winning Sales Teams, was published in April 2020.

Lynn is a Leadership and Sales Coach and co-author of Coaching Winning Sales Teams. She has a strong commercial background and over 25 years of experience working at board level. Winner of multiple awards, including Vodafone’s prestigious Premier Club award for coaching and leadership development in 2011, she holds a first-class Professional Diploma in Management Skills delivered by Leeds University and Accenture and a Certificate in Personal and Business Coaching.
Jon Buckthorp
Jon leads marketing for Vodafone Carrier Services, a division of Vodafone Business. This team is responsible for wholesale technology platforms to global telecom providers and the biggest tech brands on the planet. They co-create solutions with these folks to ignite new experiences and propel industry growth - All with the wires, wireless and clouds we never normally see but power everything we love!
He is fascinated by makers, creators and innovators. As a professional communicator he loves to see tech and coll new platforms used to bring amazing ideas alive.
With twenty years of experience across retail, B2B international sales and leadership of national and global marketing teams, he has spent more time than most away from an office.
Working styles that blend home, office and everywhere between has been his jam!
